By Daniel Hager, Disclosure tv June 18, 2020

North Korea has increased its nuclear arsernal at a secret uranium enrichment facility in Kangson just south of Pyongyang.

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute estimates in its report, that was published Monday. That North Korea had 30 to 40 nuclear warheads as of the beginning of January this 2020. Concluding that they have added 10 more warheads than last year’s estimate.

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute told RFA on Tuesday that it reached the conclusion from viewing commercial satellite images and comparing them to others taken at an earlier time. They also tracked vehicular movements around and near the secretive base

Secretive bases like this one in Kangson, which the North has refused to confirm, is the reason for the failure of the second U.S.-North Korea summit last year. The North Korean leader only offered to dismantle the known nuclear facility in Yongbyon, which is thought to be out of commission due to lack of updating.

The U.S. Navy has deployed three aircraft carriers in the Pacific. The USS Ronald Reagan and USS Theodore Roosevelt have been ordered to the western Pacific near the south china sea. USS Nimitz ihas also been tasked to the fleets.

The U.S’s presence in the area represents the biggest deployment of U.S. aircraft carriers in the Pacific since tensions over North Korea’s nuclear weapons program were at their peak in 2017
